Overall Responsibility

The Website Developer (WD) will provide web services and support for Lure Creative and its clients. This person will be involved in strategy, creation and on-going maintenance of websites and on-line marketing programs.

The applicant must have experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, XML, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of Drupal and/or WordPress Website Development. Prior work history in a lead-generation environment is very helpful.If you have to wait for a lot of detailed instruction, this job is not for you. Lure Creative is a “get it done” environment where taking charge is a must. We also have a lot of fun and encourage personality, freedom of ideas and expression. Some client interaction will be required.

Works With

Marketing & Web Consultants, SEM Specialist, Copywriters, Web Designers and Clients.

Terms of Employment

There will be a 90-day introductory period, at the end of which an employee evaluation will take place. At this time, continuation of employment will be decided upon between both parties. Insurance and retirement savings plan will be optional for the employee at this time.

Software Experience

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and some working knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel and others are a plus. Knowledge of PC and Mac are required.

Performance Qualifications

The Website Developer must be able to work under tight deadlines. He/she must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, including some of which may fall outside this job description.

The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial attitude in brainstorming for new ideas for clients. Being able to think on your feet without being managed is a plus. A candidate who possesses SEO knowledge, good spelling and proofreading skills will have an advantage.

Education & Work History Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent is required in web development, programming or related IT field. A minimum of 4 years experience in an agency or corporate environment in a related position is necessary.

Work Conditions/Requirements

This position requires handling multiple tasks in short periods of time while maintaining composure with other employees and clients. High levels of stress may occur when dealing with deadlines on a regular basis.

In addition, long durations of sitting are required to fulfill the duties of a Website Developer where strain on the eyes, back, neck and more can be physically challenging.
