Home Improvement Website: A Branding Knockout in Kansas City

September 25, 2012

Cornerstone Home Improvements gets into the ring with the top home improvement companies out there and is a knockout with a fresh, new approach to marketing.  Lure Creative partnered with this 42-year-old company to give them a new…old look!

When designing their new window company website we created a nostalgic feeling for the 1970’s era through the design and color scheme.  Why is this?  Cornerstone Home Improvements has been family owned since 1970 and has been armed with the expertise and knowledge of over 40 years of experience.  We wanted to reflect this.  The nostalgic feeling is designed to throw you back to a time when customer service really mattered.  Because the company has its roots in customer service, we wanted website visitors to receive that same feeling.

Not only is their new website a reflection of who they are as a company, their core values, and company history, but it is also SEO friendly and optimized to shine in search results.

When it came to re-branding Cornerstone Home Improvements, we began with embellishing upon their old logo and adding the slogan, “We’re in Your Corner”.

Cornerstone prides themselves on showing customers all brand options and finding one that fits their needs.  This was reflected in the branding phrase, “Shop All the Brands, One Call”.  After all, 80% of window efficiency comes from a high quality installation, not the window itself.
