No Bones About It…An Orthopedic Website With SEO Muscle
Since 1941, Drisko Fee & Parkins (DFP) Orthopaedic surgeons have created a name for themselves in the Kansas City market. Sometimes, however, even established brands need a fresh, new look. Lure Creative helped build a DFP brand online with a new website and performed SEO surgery for this dynamic Health Care Web Design.
Although most new business for orthopedics comes from doctor referrals, DFP also wanted to be seen at the top of search rankings to acquire even more new patients and to have the online recognition for their achievements. Additionally, the growing trend for the health care industry is to incorporate new “Patient Portals” for the patients to log in and schedule appointments, send secure messages to doctors, see medical history, and more. DFP decided to build their new portal and update their existing website at the same time.
Here are the steps we took to help improve DFP’s online health.
We updated their hard-to-read logo and made it match the new look of the website. Then, we created a color combination of blues, maroons and gray that helped give the practice more personality and energy (the old color was just maroon).
Individual pages for each specialty area (ex: shoulders, hips, ankles) were added for prospective patient information and for enhanced SEO power. Those in the KC area looking for a doctor or specialist for the pain or injury they have, will now be able to search with keywords that match the part of the body they are concerned with and find DFP’s website highly ranked.
